Research-Oriented Learning: University didactic concepts - International Perspectives

NOWETAS conference November 3 2010 - November 5 2010

From November 3-5, NOWETAS supported a conference on “Research-Oriented Learning: University didactic concepts – International Perspectives”. The conference was a first step in the process of sharing knowledge, ideas and best practices in undergraduate and graduate level teaching among the three participating universities: University of Oldenburg, University of Bremen and Jacobs University Bremen. Each day, the conference featured keynote speeches from experts within Germany and around the world. External perspectives were complemented by internal ones, as a daily poster session exhibited current approaches to research-oriented teaching at all three universities. The Jacobs day featured an integrative panel discussion on the topic of ‘Enhancing Research-Oriented Teaching at NOWETAS Universities’.
